So far, for the 3 months (almost) that I have been here, I think the most wonderful experience was the 4 snowstorms that the North Eastern region of the USA had to handle. Roads were blocked, store shelves were empty and school was out! At first it seemed like it was a blessing in disguise; no school! Holidays! But after about a week or so, I got bored staying at home. Everyone did. When school restarted, students had to face the agony of more homework and assignments.
My other wonderful experience here so far is the friendliness of the people here. The teachers are very helpful at my school, St Thomas More Preparatory, Delaware. I also find it very funny when everyone couldn't believe I can speak English! I also had one student come up to me and ask me if I had Disney from where I was! So far, everything is awesome! My host family, Mr. and Mrs. Schweitzer are the best! I would never trade this or them for anything else in the world! Here are some pictures from my stay so far. Do enjoy!
